“Winter is coming” Jon Snow – Game of Thrones

22 September officially marked the first day of autumn – the nights are getting longer, the air a little more chill and the leaves will be beginning to turn.

And as winter approaches and memories of summer retreat, you might begin to feel a little less energized and your motivation may ebb as a result. For the financial procrastinators among us that’s a dangerous combo.

A few choice words

The essence of a procrastinator is they will put off until tomorrow what they could do today, and more often than not ‘tomorrow’ never comes. Mix this lack of money motivation with a little seasonal lethargy and you’ve got a heady cocktail.
