Mainstream moment for pensions
When is the moment when something can be said to be mainstream?
Does a mention in global best selling video game Grand Theft Auto count?
I was hearing that one of the characters in the recently released Grand Theft Auto 5 refers to his “401K”, which are a kind of US pension which employers contribute to for an employee.
Although this computer game was developed by a company based in Edinburgh (Rockstar North), auto-enrolment into UK workplace pensions didn’t quite make it into the plot. Not quite as catchy as a “401K” I suppose.
Will pensions ever become cool in the UK?
It got me thinking, will pensions ever become cool in the UK?
What do you think?
